Dear Paul, Thank you for your rating and review. As regards the English, I have someone who won't let mistakes go who looks over what I've written. I'm glad you felt it was covered all the bases--it's a poem I've been working on, just getting lines or phrases for quite some time and the contest brought it all together.

You are absolutely right! In this age of uncertainty, we need an anchor for our soul. Something to believe in that will stabilize us with strength beyond our own. What better Person than our Creator who knows us better than we do ourselves? Thank you for the reminder.

What a lovely poem for this contest -- it should do well. My favorite stanza is this one:

I will have to give you a virtual six for your poem. What a meaningful message about faith. Faith is definitely given by God or Jesus. We could not live without Him. I really like the words in your poem.

This is a beautiful testament to faith and its power. So called religious people claim faith but rarely show it, opting instead to try and solve everything on their own. If you have faith in your higher power, then you should have enough faith in their ability to at least give them a chance to show it.

Thank you so much for both for your rating and review. I think your point about 'so-called religious people' is really valid. The only religion we need is sacrificial love and faith to believe the Giver and let Him prove Himself.

Yes I must admit, although I don't suffer from insomnia, I occasionally suffer from worry, which will keep me from obtaining a full night's sleep, but when I think there is an unresolvable problem, help comes, a wonderful post my friend, God is good, blessings Roy

Thank you so much for your encouraging and faith-building review. It is really touching. The photo is of our granddaughter clambering over the very rugged rocks where the tectonic plates are pulling America and Europe apart in Iceland.
