All throughout the poem, I felt the sincere respect and appreciation you have for 'woman', one whose glow starts from the inside and works its way out. I love the many attributes you described. You worked really hard on this post, and it shows.

This is quite a tribute. The varied examples of her attributes was well thought out and beautifully rendered. I lived the line about nurturing, not to be confused with mothering. Very nice poem. Good luck in the contest. Gretchen

Thanks friend! I am, as I am certain so many others are richly blest to walk this journey through life with a real soul mate, Everyday is far more joyful as a result. The fact that she is a cancer survivor is the greatest gift I could have ever asked for!

I enjoyed the honesty and depth of description, the light hearted lines contrasted with heartfelt.
