Your words remind me of how often we gallop away from God. Your words of faith are clear and remind the reader to pray and remain faithful. Excellent faith based poem.

Hello Mrs. Fish! Thanks for reading and glad you enjoyed. So many have galloped away because they have lost faith in what they can't see. Love, Kay xx

Good morning, Kay. Great job on executing and crafting an exemplary Loop poem for the Faith contest. I enjoyed reading your 'galloping' poem with your affirmation of faith. Well done and good luck.

Hello Melissa, Many thanks for your kind words. So many have turned away from Him and now, this is the testing time in dark waters. Happy Christmas my friend. Love, Kay xx

Wonderful poem of faith! Yes many are galloping away from Him, when it would be so simple to come towards Him and meet their Creator before it's too late. Best wishes for your entry in the contest. I hope your Christmas was very happy, and a meaningful time of celebration and reflection.

Thank you Wendy. I went to the carols followed by the Mass. Fr. was dashing around in his Santa suit greeting all the children. The parishioners had made bottles, decorated on the outside and lighting up led lights inside - lovely. Benny and I just had a prawn lunch (yes he likes prawns) it is a sad/happy time for many. I miss my family. Hope you had a wonderful day my friend. Love, Kay xx

Hello Teri, Thanks so much for kind review. I went to church Christmas Eve and Santa was giving gifts to the congregation. Then he changed into his special robes for the Mass - it was the Priest! Hope your day was special. Love, Kay xx

Aussie this is such a terrific poem and so clever in it's construction with use of repetition at beginning and end of lines. Each line creates a place to ponder and question. A really fine poem which expresses faith and the way faith can change us. I enjoyed the wild horses imagery at the start too! I wondered whether the final two lines of 3rd stanza could incorporate the wonderful use of repetition that each other pair contained? A wonderful poem for the contest!

Lovely reflection about faith and the call of God to stop "galloping" way but keep close to Him and wait on Him. May all our loved ones who have been galloping away turn back to Him!
