If I had six you would have six. This is an absolutely gorgeously displayed piece of work. I am fairly certain that you are a magical unicorn, because such poetic artistry could only come from a fabled mystical creature.

I was thinking of Spanish poppy flowers, they are red. But we have red poppies in America too. I know the yellow poppy is California's flower.

Your graphics are spectacular. Your words are fresh and meaningful. I enjoy what you bring to the table. Like ice cream. I have to figure out how you manually direct the page to accomplish your presentation.

Woohoo! Another pretty tanka. Good description of how footprints make a hour glass imprint of sand. Creative.
Pretty poppies. Think opium comes from poppies. Dehescene cocktails made of opium. They taste like licorice. Had dehescene cocktails in Misawa, Japan. They are potent!

But you still have the memories even if the "hourglass sand waves" have covered your childhood's footprints. The memories can bring the sadness of broken hearts but also the joy of having been together once. Beautifully done!

Yes, I don't regret my past. Out of the pain of failed relationships I got the best part of my life, my children and grandchildren. Thank you for reading and reviewing my poems. Love xoxo 😘
