Now that sounds like a Christmas party! Your story ending made me chuckle especially the typical teenage response.
One thing: Tiffany says, "But he is married, divorced, separated? What's the deal?" Maybe switch 'he is' to 'is he'.
Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas, Terry!

A very nice story with a happy ending for all. Isn't it great when a plan comes together? I loved how Tulia gained the respect of the other Ts and was welcomed in by the group. Sounds like a great family.
Wonderful job of writing.

Phew...
Good story and a good entry for a Christmas contest if you were to enter one.
I had a devil of a time keeping all those "T"'s straight, but the further into the story it became apparent.
Nicely composed.
Happy Holidays.
Cheers, John

A fun-filled and spirited telling of a simple story. The pace is good. The images are clear. The dialogue is believable. The narrative stays on point. The ending being somewhat open is a nice way to stop.
Thanks for sharing.

This is a humorous story. What a great idea Tulia had, and a fun way to outdo her mother-in-law, as well as introducing her to a guy that sounds like a great match for her. 112 people is a huge party! I know, everything's done in a big way in Texas! Note: Tomasina is spelled differently in one spot, shortly before the ***. Good story!

This was a delightful story. It was a fun and very entertaining read. It was a great story of family wanting to be together but not leave
Willowmina alone but gave her a party to remember.
Best wishes
Mary

I like the way you have incorporated all the family's propensities for thinking the way they think, and the way of "fitting" usually the way that this world has perceived, I'm glad to say that some will "try to hold the tide back", but only Gid can do that. Perceptively written Terry, well done, blessings Roy

That's great for Christmas tale, very witty and enjoyable. Grandma certainly found a new romance with help, and the family managed to spend a merry Christmas together. Evi

Your story was very entertaining. The ladies came up with a great way to solve the problem of who goes to whose house for Christmas this year. Very well done on this. (Is "whose" a proper word, or should it be "who's"?

Ha! Ric and the old HotHouse bar showed up. Have the funny feeling Vegas wedding bells are going to be ringing. This was fun. I liked that I knew all of the characters from different angles. You did a masterful job. Merry Christmas. Gretchen
