I really enjoyed this. It took me to a place, I often day dream about. Please do not cry about memories, they are a cherished treasure of our journey that lead us to here.
Well unless they were horrible, I guess. But in spite of that the journey took us to where we are now. Thank you for sharing. I truly wish you would add color and some illustration.
Good Luck

You must understand, we men are a challenged. This one in particular. I'm smart enough to get on fanstory but when it comes to including a picture, I'm specially challenged. And my major source of brains, my wife wasn't here to post the picture. Sorry about that. Thank you for the very complimentary review.

This is a beautifully worded rhyming poem about a homeplace. The text is a nice size for reading. The verses each contain a good detail about the speaker's life within those walls.
However, the grayness for the background and no visual makes the poem seem sad rather than grateful for having a good life in this humble home. I would add a more cheerful color to the background. To find the images I want. I type this into my search engine Free photos of (_________). I download it to my computer and upload it here. Just remember to use the word free and you will not be breaking copyrights. Sadly, people will by-pass this poem because you have nothing to draw them in. The visual and color draws them to your writing and your wonderful poem makes them stay. This is a good poem.

What a complimentary review. Now I must make a confession. My computer skills are just below those of our cat, and we all know cats are cuddly but intellectually they are morons. By the same token, they are ahead of me.

I understand. Try the steps I mentioned as practice before you try uploading here. If you need more detailed steps send me a message and I will send them to you.

Thank you, Sandra. Normally, I have my grandson nearby and he provides all the computer assistance I need. Today he wasn't here. Have a great day.

Ask him when he comes about downloading and uploading. The young are computer natives.

Hello p, Bob! Sweet poem of the things that captured us then and now. We moved a lot growing up because my parents had a troubled marriage. My family is what I miss most. The houses and wealth are long gone. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sal :))

Thank you, Sally, your reviews are always appreciated and generally way too kind. I really relate to your second last sentence. Our wealth is also long gone. Have a great week, you sure have kicked mine off well.

Most welcome, Bob. Blessings to all the Cullens! Sal XOs

I like how the house is your physical connection to the past and the trigger for the memories of good times. The rhyme scheme was simple yet effective. Well written and very relatable. Gretchen

This poem, It's the House, brings the readers to this house which, although small, holds worlds of memories that reside here and follow us all our lives.
