I did enjoy the read. Thank you.
And I especially like the sentiment.
Even though I was confused by the rhyming pattern.
Not being a poet, it's prob'ly just that I didn't recognize it.
Best wishes.

I may be mistaken but I thought Michael Bell had died. Why am I confused?
A FS friend wrote this morning something to that effect, so I thought I saw, as Tweety-bird did not a cat but something like that ... which I mentioned in the beginning of these words.

This poem is a reminder of what poetry is all about, as well as a reminder of the person who loved and lived poetry. He has encouraged many other poets by his own creative art and by his reviews of their work.

I write this knowing that you will not read it and that breaks my heart. As always, Mike, you wrote in such a way that I need to take a step back and let all the words flow over me so I can take them all in.
You had a way of writing that your 'verse connected our souls to anything that made us whole'. I did enjoy the read and please know that you did indeed make your mark on us here. We will miss you.

Brilliant write. poetry is our way of expressing our inner-self. Thoughts, dreams, schemes run around our head like a wild stallion needing to be let free. Freedom for our words releases peace to ourselves and brings joy to all who read.

I think that poetry is full of magic of we can a place and give it emotions. It is clear and concise. Excellent work! No mistakes found in your poetry. I like how you structured your poem. Thank you for sharing!

Gorgeous, my friend. What a beautiful post and a beautiful human being. Thank you, Karenina, for sharing Mike's work with us one more time. I would tell him that the second Stanza is my favorite and very fitting. Best, JohnC

Thank you for everything, my friend. If we meet again, I will be blessed. If not, it was no fault of yours. Truly nice and intelligent people are uncommon. It was my honor to know you.

I am reading this with sadness in my heart as the last piece of writing we will ever be blessed to read by this brilliant, loving human being. We love you Mike. There will forever be a gaping hole in FanStory without you. Rest in well-deserved Peace, dear Friend.

A surprise post by Mike. I must have missed it when it first came out. That form is a new one for me. You must be very clever to come up that last stanza.
