When my grandfather first visited us in our house, his first comment when seeing the cemetery that adjoins our property was, "Well, at least your neighbors will be quiet."

This is a very nice flash fiction. It requires a certain suspension of disbelief, given how they speak about this but it works in setting up the twist ending.
