Okay, now I am definitely going to get busy on my genealogy. No more thinking about it. Right?!?! I really enjoy reading these stories and find your family very interesting.

Thank you Barbara. I'm pleased the fact I'm writing stories and doing genealogy about my family is inspiring you to do it as well. However if you've just finished another of your facinating books, I don't know where you'll find the time.

By the time we get through every chapter of your book, most people will know more about you and your family than they do their own. I would too, if only I wouldn't forget things I don't use regularly. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

I'm sure you're learning more that you want to know. Hopefully you'll forget it. I apparently don't worry about people knowing too much about me. I don't think I have in secrets that will get me put away for live. Maybe I'd better doublecheck.

LOL. Every chapter is interesting and enjoyable, but I don't picture you as someone who has or has ever cared to have too many secrets. Me on the other hand, I kept plenty as a young man. But these days, there isn't anything exciting enough to keep to myself. LOL.

Hi Beth, I so enjoy reading about your family and ancestors, and as I've said so many times before, you're very good at it. It's really interesting to read how life was back in the day. Maybe my interest comes from only getting to meet my real family in 2003. Ulla:)))

This part or chapter of "Glover's story"
Is the first I've read, found it quite captivating, and interesting.
Well written rich in Theme and Imagery.
...
Complete Synopsis: The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional, while Descriptive Measures Aligned Perfectly.
Looking forward to the next part.

Thanks for sharing this story. I am also interested in genealogy and I think it is important to know our roots. Your writing is great and easy to read. You might want to check these words,"operating grist mills pasted down" and "started a tirp". Good job. Sarah

I thought this was well written. And it was also very interesting. For this to work for an expanded audience I would recommend taking educated liberty. You mention he was pampered. Good! You can show that using dialogue and setting a scene. Doesn't have to be true necessarily but it will breathe life into him and the family. Overall terrific writing.

Thank you, Michael. I really appreciate your review and suggestions. I know I need to show more instead of telling for a wider audience. I don't want to make these chapters to long but I'll see what I can work in, Your comments are very helpful.

This is such an interesting piece!
The details that you've managed to dig out are great and give enormous depth to the story - so often we don't think to ask the right questions until it's too late!
What a hard life they had back then, we're all so spoiled these days that few of us have any idea of what life was like then!
A couple of typos I noticed: '. . .gristmill which would be power by a gasoline motor. . .' should that be powered?
'. . .but when they were half way, there a severe storm struck.' Comma after 'there' rather than 'way'?
Great piece of work, looking forward to reading what happens when their marriage is discovered!

Thank you Charlotte. I really appreciate you reviewing this story about my dad. The second part of my mom story is still active and it overlaps that of my dads. Her story is called Lucille's Story, Part two.
I'm glad you so those errors.. I've corrected them.

Thank Beth, I look forward to having a look as soon as I get a chance - unfortunately I?m a bit overwhelmed with work at the moment!
In the meantime most of my stories are biographical, about my son with Down Syndrome, if you wanted to have a quick peek?
