The failings of man stand in stark contrast to the perfect love and redemption of Christ in this poem. We can't always forgive, we can't always rise above our anger and fear and pain, but Christ always wipes our tears away, time and time again. estory

Your poem had an excellent message, Roy. No matter what
man does, God is there if s/he is a true believer. I used 'man'
to mean all individuals. Your presentation was great--the color
scheme was perfect as was the image. I liked the monorhymes
within each verse. Your words had smooth flow and created great
imagery.

These mono-rhyme stanzas show how sin casts a shadow over the sinner and the one sinned against. It als reminds how and why forgiveness is available.

So few take note of the sacrifice, killing him again and again, by their refusal to let go of actions, beliefs and lifestyles that dishonor him and the things that he stands for. Chief among them is love. How often do we witness acts spurred by pure hatred of people who have done nothing to deserve it. Your words and phrase are beautiful. Inspiring and uplifting.
