This is a six poem, but alas I don't have one. I liked the increasing number of lines per stanza. It helped to give a feel of increasing desire, despite the setbacks. The whole thing is great, including the carefully inserted song titles, but these are my favorite lines:
you reject me as often
as novels to a publisher.

Only you can determine your sense of urgency. Just remember everyone has sixes on Sunday. Mine sometimes go fast.
