I like your modern Tanka - Excellent picture presentation - good syllable count - poem tells and interesting tanka type story - in Japanese romantic poetic form - Excellent quote from Kahlil Gibran - 'The Prophet' - I would guess - "love knows its own depth until the moment of separation." Seems to connect with poem - "nudging alone empty dreams" Good Job

I loved it ."nudging along empty dreams' is a potent hit on the readers psyche .How true .The moon is reflecting but he/she is also leading the poor humans into a realm of dreams.

You always pick the greatest pictures! The poem feels ethereal and not just a personification of the moon. It seems the reflection of the moon has inspired the poet to write dreams.
