Beautifully stated Gypsy. I am sorry you lost your mom at such a young and impressionable age. This poem reads as a lullaby because of the three repeated words at the end of each verse. The presentation is so well-done.
I would drop the first line one or two spaces down to balance the poem better on the black background. You have lots of black space at the bottom.
I pray your sister, Mina, gets better soon.

Thank you for sharing about your sister, Mina. Loved the gentle, rocking lullaby of your poem. I like that your reference your mother's lullabies which comforted you and you send comfort to your sister. We are praying with you!

Thank you, Helen, you write the most beautiful heartfelt prayers. I really appreciate it. Mina and I were very close growing up. She is 10 years older than I so when my mother died she filled the void somewhat. She is a positive and joyful person and has a beautiful voice. I'm really worried. She is getting a pace maker and antibiotics for a pulmonary infection. She has smoked all her life. On top of that she is having problems with her liver. Anyway, hopefully she will be alright.
Thank you very much for your time and kind review, as always. Hugs!
