Moral to the story: When something other than a human gives you advice --especially when you are alone in the frigid woods-- don't take it! Good and scary flash here, and I especially loved the phrase "Shut your peepers." [that should have been another red flag to the poor guy] Fun read in that makes-you-cringe-and-gulp kind of way...but, that, of course, is the essence of the flash fiction story, so you did it just right!
