I seem to have missed this one. I shall cite pressure of work as the culprit.
An interesting shift concentrating on the ailment rather than the sufferer. I am sure there are many who will benefit from this prayer.

Thank you, Jim! I still find all our joints and moving parts such a marvel and hope these surgeries will be perfect.
What work are you busy with? Are you publishing your last book? Please let us know when you do! Hugs and blessings!

I hope to get the mill saga published traditionally and an currently seeking an agent. It is a slow process.

I can imagine. The agent idea is probably the best way. Hope to hear you found a good one soon!

A lovely poem to request prayer for Debi and Jess, for their knee surgeries. I'm glad to hear that both back surgeries went well. I'll pray for Debi and for Jess's recovery, since I missed his surgery date. We have such good technology at our disposal today, so that really helps many docs perform well. Thanks for keeping us apprised. Blessings.

You are such a blessing on here, keeping us reminded of what is going on in the lives of fellow writers. I pray that Jesse had a successful surgery today and that Debit will have the same later this month. I pray the Lord will give them freedom from pain.

I thank you with all my heart Helen, for this lovely poem and prayers. For me, my knee is actually a secondary thing, yet it is bone on bone. I just let it go so long that it destroyed my legs as well. I wish I could send you pictures of the before and after pictures of the X-rays of my first leg that was done on July 7th. My leg was so crooked and deformed from the Lupus that it was hard to tell that if was even a leg. I am so proud to say that it is a picture of health now. Although there were life threatening complications, I know they will be watching more carefully this next time. Not complaining, just so thankful.
Once again I thank you again my sweet friend, as I too will always be there for you if ever needed. Even when there is nothing else we can do for someone, prayer is always welcomed. I haven't heard how Jesse is doing yet, but will be in touch with all when I hear from him. You are truly an Angel who was sent to Earth on a mission and I am so appreciative of having the honor to call you my friend.

I'll say amen to your poem-prayer for FanStory friends. I've had my share of joint surgeries-back, shoulder, hips, but so far, not knees. About a month ago, I could barely put weight on one knee, so I called my ortho doc friend and made an appointment. It had been that way for about two weeks, but the day I made the appointment, it cleared up. (I'm thinking now it might be venous insufficiency there since I've been having problems with that.) So I canceled my appointment today.

I'm so glad to hear it got better! Doesn't it always happen so often? We call for an appointment and suddenly we don't need it! Thanks for sharing and thank you for your Amen! Hugs!

I've had hip surgery but so far have escaped knee surgery. I've heard it's worse than hip replacement, but our bone and joint center in Terre Haute does a wonderful job with both. You're so thoughtful to remember these FanStory folks, and I hope they'll be up and around soon after surgery. Our knees do a lot of work for us. Yes, let's pray that the surgeries go well for Debi and Jesse, with no complications. Excellent rhyme in this. judi

Knee surgery and/or replacement seems the trendy thing for us seniors once we hit 70. But the advancement in surgery plus physical therapy has made recovery time so much faster. Rod

It's wonderful that you create poems to bring attention of the medical needs of FS members. I'm familiar with James and pray he can get out of his wheelchair. My friend Jonathan has injured his knee repeatedly when playing basketball. He fears a tear, but has no health insurance, so he hopes the knee will heal itself.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear about Jonathan. How can someone in the health field not have health insurance? In WA state, we have ACA so even my adult child who's not working is covered. Thanks so much, Shari! Hugs!
