Beautiful love poem! It can be to the beloved one or to God. But the narrator knows she can fully trust and be safe and be guided by the one she addresses. Best wishes in the contest!

I started writing a romantic love poem but it ended up being about God. Only you and Roy Owen figured it out. I left it open for interpretation.

A excellent free verse entry. The magic and awe of the north star shines brilliantly in your well-written poem. I like how you vary the font color of each line and the added reference info aids the reader in understanding the underlying theme of the poem.

I believe I find myself lost within your universe as the calming tenderness of these words, thoughts and emotions wrap me up, swaddled, nurtured, feeling complete.
If I could pick just one verse to say...'this is the one that floated me northward', I could not. As I read and reread, I am swept up in the entity of wholeness and completion to a perfect-tender love.
This poem, your words, your beautiful blue presentation... I am starstruck and floating on the current of its warm ocean.
All the very best in this free verse contest dear Gypsy Queen, you have composed a truly beautiful poem.

yes, I did enjoy the whole presentation. How could I not? For one...'blue' just added to the mood, your words capped it off, as they usually do. But I also loved that you branched out into a longer form with a grace and poise of a true Queen. If one word could sum it up, I'd say exquisite!
