What an interesting picture...an eyecatcher, indeed, Roy. I really enjoyed your words because they questioned God. He is everywhere, in the darkness and in the light. Blessings.

Nicely written. There is no place one can go to escape the presence of God. I too like the early morning just as dawn is breaking because it seems that our minds are in a better place to communicate with God although he is present in the darkest night as well.

I really like how you can take the seed of any thought or image and gradually work it into a message from or of God. No place to hide, absolutely!
Nicely written.

These are thought-provoking words for those who think they can hide from God. He knows our innermost thoughts and desires. I find the early morning hours are the perfect time for reflection and self-examination. I enjoyed these sentiments.
I love the light of early morn,
where silence spreads the peace at dawn.
Where seeds of thought through birth can grow,
and faith can spark dawn's mercy glow.

Who can or should argue with a righteous man. He seems to know the difference between right and wrong but as a saint I know we knew that before achieving birth but a third of heaven did not and were tossed out on their bumkins.

Your poem is very uplifting and spiritual in nature. Thank you for the related Bible verses in the author's note. They paired well with your writing. The only thing I would edit is the sentence is, "There's no place where his foes can hide." I would put, "There is no place his foes can hide." But that's just my two cents. As a beginning writer I have much to learn from the pros such as yourself. Continue leading the way! We are all reading and learning more one word at a time.

I think in these troubling times we can only appreciate the beauty around u such as the early morn, the birdsong and have faith that peace will eventually reign, and the seeking of power will abate. Another good write Roy that makes us look outside the nightly news.
cheers,
valda

Moving verse, Roy. Those with faith are never in darkness when we have the light of Jesus aglow within us! Likewise, as you so aptly state in your awesome final stanza... God's foes will find no haven... No night will save them!
