HI Sandra, OMG...the only thing Miles can do...
legally...is turn them in...his father...and mommy dearest...
I take it their marriage wasn't made in Heaven...they weren't one big happy family.
well he did a great job standing up to them....but then
again...he had everything working for him...now the question is...after he tells Margot/Meg...what will they decide to do????...after all his parents caused her fathers suicided...if Meg wants them arrested...will he do it???...
and Roger turned out to be an ok Joe kind of guy...hmmm...
one of your greatest chapters my amazing friend...so what's Miles to do...I'm sooooooooo loving this story told beautiful you...where do you find the time...sending bunches and bunches of love your way...Linda xxoo
how are you guys doing now???...both on your feet I pray...
I'm doing good...hanging in there...been working on the house...Johnny's grandparents will be here Thursday...
so I had to jump from the outside of the house...to the inside...I have some things I want to get done...but just not yet...LOL...so you and Graham take care...love ya...xxoo

Oh, my word, you are being kept busy, Linda, but go careful and don't over do it. I know what you're like!! (and you keep on at me, hmmm) Enjoy Johnny's grandparents, relax and have fun. They won't be looking for dust, I'm sure!!
Thank you for another wonderful review, and for the shiny golden star. You're a diamond, my dear friend. It's almost at the end now. Just a few more chapters. Love you loads and loads and sending lots of hugs. :)) Sandra xxxxx

Hi Sandra, LOL...because I live in a corn belt...we get a lot of dust bunnies in the house...and of cause I love my knick knacks...and really don't speed the time I should dusting them all...so I guess the good thing about company...is they get dusted...
so just a couple more things...and I'll be ready for them...
I said I was staying home this summer...4 things I'm set on getting done...2 down...and 2 to go...those are the outside things...
and inside...I did get my shirts in order...but my pants are waiting on the side...all over my spare room bed...I refuse to put them away until I figure out whose staying and whose leaving...and I have to try them all on...and don't ask...I'm not sure how many pair there are...I just know a lot...I think I have hip hungers in there from high school...and some Sergio Valente jeans from when I was in my 30's...not sure if I'm ready to let them go...I may want to be buried in them...they always looked so good on...Hmmmm...may just keep them...
love you forever beautiful you...soooo many hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 coming your way...and you are most welcome...2 more days...and you'll be a year younger...Linda xxoo 🙏🌹😊🌼💖

😭😭😭😭😭I'll be three quarters of a century old! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Where did the other last 40 plus years go? I was young, and could run and kneel down without someone helping me up again!!!!!
I'm going through my clothes next week, and putting them into sizes. So when I gain weight, I know where those clothes are, and when I lose some, there's another case full. I have some lovely evening wear dresses hanging in full sight to encourage me to get back into them again. Has it worked? NO. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Okay, now we are both cheered up. 😂🤣😂
Enjoy yourself going through your pants, but do enjoy your time with your visitors. It's good to relax and have a few laughs. Love you. 🥰❤️
-
oh your still young...🚲...😉...I bet you
and Graham go bicycling once in awhile...
that's the way my shirts are hanging...in colors...and in sizes...and on a pizza night...or a spaghetti night...I wear the size large...bleach stained shirts...works for me...
otherwise it's a medium from the front of
the closet...
well...you have fun going through your clothes...don't forget to try them all on...
that's the fun part...😰😰😰😰....don't forget to take breaks...love you too...smiling big...xxoo

This was a great chapter, Sandra. The confrontation Miles had
with his parents was well written. They are two evil people who
care only for themselves. . . unless someone outside the family
caused trouble, , , then watch out! I could see the scene where
they were accusing, yelling, and being generally ballistic. It's
interesting Mr. Cranky owned up to his evil doings--must've seen
the writing on the wall. He'd better watch his back. Miles' mother
really acted the part of an evil individual. How snooty of her to
complain about the way she was summoned to the meeting
downstairs with Miles and his father. The parents both realize
they've been found out. Now, what kind of scheming will they
do together to get back at Miles. It's great Miles has the written
proof about their actions. As to the murderer, things aren't that
easily wrapped up. Yes, his parents had motives etc. but who else?
Interesting we haven't heard much from Jane, although this
chapter focused on Miles' discoveries.
Thanks for sharing.
Looking forward to the next chapter, Jan

Thank you so very much for another one of your fabulous reviews, Jan, and the golden star award, that was so nice of you. I had a little smile when I read your words, 'As to the murderer, things aren't that easily wrapped up.' You are so right!! Watch this space!! Thank you, again, dear friend. Sandra xxx

Wow! I am sitting on the edge of my chair and mentally screaming, "Take that! And that!" You really put your heart and soul into this book and I am so proud to be able to be the friend of this upcoming best seller author. It's fantastic! It's the best I have felt in months and I am pleased to say you have made me want to think about writing again... of course I can't compete with this, but I can at least struggle to climb the ladder toward your awesome story. Love it!
Smiles and hugs and always my love, Carol

My computer died or at least became seriously incapacitated this morning so I am on the tablet which I don't like, and the battery is running down fast.
However i did enjoy this episode. There is nothing like a blazing row, I know I enjoyed writing the breakfast scene after the fair and I imagine you enjoyed writing this. It is really brilliant.

Sorry about your computer, I hope it isn't anything serious?
I did enjoy writing this chapter, it was fun. I'm so pleased you thought it was brilliant! Thank you so much for that!! And a big hug for the six stars! Love and hugs, my friend. I'm off to watch The Debate! xxxx

I watched it. I thought the big loser was sophie Rainsworth. Not a good chairperson. Every time she asked a question Rishi got first stab at the answer and she consistently allowed him to bulldoze ovr Liz.
-
Yes, I thought that, too. I think Kay Burley will be better next week on Sky. Can you get it there?
-
Yes I get Sky. I have no terrestrial signal. Rishi came over as a right bully and Sophie did not stamp her authority on the proceedings.
-
That's exactly what we thought. He won't get away with that with Kay!

I am happy Miles has found his parent's out. They are an evil couple and they deserve each other. LOL Now Miles and Meg can get married. Right? They wouldn't dare cause a problem with all of that hanging over their heads. Good for Mr. Roger Crankston-Smythe. He is coming clean and at great risk to himself. Good job, Sandra. Nancy xxx

Yes, Miles will marry Meg whether they like it or not. But, who is the would be murderer? No one has come up with the right answer yet! Lol. Thanks so much for this lovely review, Nancy, and the fabulous sixth star. I always appreciate you, my dear friend. Love Sandra xxx

I'm sure it would be almost impossible to prove that someone pushed someone over the limit to suicide. But I'm sure it happens more than could be imagined. Thanks for sharing another great chapter.

It would, but apparently, it happens. Thank you so much, Ric, for this lovely review. Not many left and then everyone will find out who the villain is. No one has guessed right, yet. Any ideas? Love and hugs, Sandra xxxx
-
I don't want to guess. Afraid I might guess right and spoil the joy I've had in reading it. LOL. Love and hugs back at you! Ric

You wouldn't get it right, anyway!! Lol. xxx

That figures! LOL

I'm still not doing much reviewing but had to read this new chapter. Great intensity of emotion in your dialogue and much enjoyed. Miles is turning out to be a force to be reckoned with. Margot is going to miss him when she returns to her own century!
A pet peeve of mine is I could have cared less, which says the opposite of what it means! I know it is perfectly acceptable and even the preferred form in the USA, but...
I hope your ribs are healing OK. Wendy and I still have the lingering after-effects of Covid - extreme lethargy and deep and persistent coughs. However, as they say, it's not the cough that carries you off, but the coffin they carry you off in.

That is so nice of you, Tony. I didn't do much reviewing either when I was at my lowest. It's hard to get motivated. Once your cough has gone, you'll be surprised how quickly your lethargy will disappear. Just relax as much as you can. Tell Wendy to order meals in, a good take-away. :)) And that expression is so right. But you are not anywhere near needing that coffin! You haven't finished your book yet!!
My ribs are healing, but it's still a bit painful when I forget and go and bend. Not something I'd recommend.
Thank you so much for the lovely review, Tony, and the golden sixth star. I've also removed that pet peeve of yours!! Lol. You're quite right about the coffin taking you off, but you are not ready for that for quite a few years! You haven't finished this story yet, and I'm sure there is another one coming along after it is!!
Take it easy, my friend, love and hugs, Sandra. xx

Thanks for your kind words, Sandra. Both Wendy and I are finding recovery from Covid slow, but we're better than we were. I don't anticipate posting anything this week, though.

While it is nice that neither the solicitor or Miles parents killed him ono the spot. It is a bit odd how quickly they confess to a sin after years of covering it up, and with so much to lose. I suppose the end of the story is close.
Now I'm going to confront...

I borrowed their toxic relationship from a couple of people I know. Once they get started, things that happened a few decades ago get brought up. Yet, they are the first to defend each other when someone else has a go at them. Lol. I don't think Miles' parents would though. Yes, there are only a few chapters left, and so far, no one has guessed who could have killed Meg. I think it will be quite a surprise.
Thank you so very much for the lovely review, and the golden star, Lance, I really have appreciated all your support and input throughout. Warm hugs, my friend. Sandra xx
