Your poetry today is wacky... but, fun too. Great choices for the song. You must have pulled out an urban dictionary, or read a recent police report for inspiration. Fun read, Bill!!

This sound really painful. Is this supposed to be sung to the tune of the twelve days of Christmas. Perhaps you should have just tried to sleep through it.

It would indeed be sung to the last verse of Twelve Days of Christmas. I felt that was obvious so didn't mention it. This is a poem and not a recounting of my personal exploits. I can't remember any of those. : )

I remember Festivus from Seinfeld. This "Festivus for the rest of us" is really much worse than the celebration with the aluminum pole. But I'm sure the policeman will help him recover.

Certainly Seinfeld-inspired for the name. Animal House probably informs the rest.

Oh, that makes sense. I think I've only seen snippets of Animal House.

Lol, sounds like a fairly normal stag do! I don't thinknI ever woke up in quite such a dodgy situation but there were certainly some painful mornings after :-)

This is a situation where waking up is probably the second-best scenario.

LOL!!!!! That's so funny, especially something up your nose and a policeman standing in front of you! You are hilarious, Bill, I love your writing. I'm still in and out, but like to catch up when I can, and usually look to see if I've missed an episode of the presidential election. This is brilliant, Bill, and I'm sure it would have done well in a Christmas contest. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I start to like this Random Rhyme and Petty Prose. This is a funny take on the Ten Days of Christmas. I especially like the following line:
bow ties on my big toes
I'm looking forward to reading more.
