Hello Belinda, the love and bond between siblings is strong.
Your poem reads and flows well, and I could feel the love that
your hold for him. Of special note:
With happy smiles, fishing days, work and so much more
It lines the hallways of my mind like smoke, forgotten lore.
(Very nice. Good descriptive writing.)
Well chosen photo ... makes time stand still. A heartfelt poem.
Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

I'm so sorry for your loss. You honor your brother beautifully with this poem. I believe he is in your heart and on your mind as you hold on to the memories and thank God that you were ever so blessed as to have him in your life!

The worst part of living is dying. I, as so many others, have lost ones whom I have cherished. Your words only begin to express what one has to endure in the days without their loved one.
So sorry for your loss.

Very well written and intended. Sorry for your loss, if indeed, I read this being about your late husband or date but hopefully not a son. Be well. ..................

-I am sorry for your loss, Belinda.
-Thanks for sharing the photo and poem.
-I hope it has brought some comfort by doing so.
-You paint a good word picture of the many
admirable qualities your brother had.
-Like many of us, he had admirable qualities
and some obstacles in his path, but also "of battles won."
-Good concluding lines, as well.
-I'm sure your brother would be pleased with your tribute.

This is achingly beautiful, written from the heart and dripping with affection and loss. I think it's in our winsome, melancholy moods that we recall the sweetest, most inspirational memories, especially with relation to our loved ones. Your connection is clear and binding, and your poem is lovely.

A beautiful tribute to a loved one. You write with genuine, sincere and heart-felt emotion. The grief you feel reaches to the reader's heart. Very well expressed. Best wishes, and I do hope the sharpness of the pain will ease.

What a beautifully written heartfelt poem. I teared up halfway through it. It made me stop and give thanks for my spouse and reminded me to try not to take a single day for granted. Thanks for sharing it!

I completely understand. I wish so many times I?d gotten to spend time with him again after he moved back home. I miss him very much. I appreciate your review and I?m so thankful you were moved with emotion as you read it. It?s powerful when that happens.
