When we sit with our grandmothers we don't think that one day it will be us teaching out grandchildren, but how quickly that comes to pass. I enjoyed reading of your time with your grandmother, dear sister, and the joy you shared in your words. I loved that last line, too!! Well done, dear SATP. Love and hugs. Sandra xx

Another beautiful poem! It's a sad thing that what is learned these days at granny's knee is not at all what it used to be - nor even of the same value and caliber.

It's good to know Grandmas are looking younger these days. This is beautifully worded and had me thinking of my own grandmother. She loved to cook and loved to listen to the soap operas on the radio. She helped me with my sewing and embroidering. Our grandparents have so much to contribute and can be wonderful teachers for their grandchildren. Your wording and the rhyme are excellent. judi
