I love the name Crankston-Smythe for the shady lawyer. Miles is determined he is going to marry Meg. There's a short time span of two weeks for Margot and Bessie to expose the fraud going on on. Lord Crawley's dead, with the word "murder" on his lips. I suspect poison. Joshua advises to go ahead with plans for the party anyway, that they'll announce the sad news later. Bessie seems pleased, as if she's expecting a good outcome with the birthday party. Great story! judi

Lord Crawley's dead, with the word "murder" on his lips. I suspect poison. Joshua advises to go ahead with plans for the party anyway, that they'll announce the sad news later. Bessie seems pleased, as if she's expecting a good outcome with the birthday party. Great story! judi

Great chapter. I loved the confrontation between Miles and his father, the emotions really came through the dialogue and we get all that tension between them because the woman Miles wants to marry. You also set up some great intrigue with that letter and Margot working to stop Meg's murder. You set up great suspense and now the next chapter is locked and loaded and we have to see what the explosion will be like...estory
