What a scary story you have chosen to tell here. It started so beautifully on an idyllic summers morning. The sudden change of circumstances plunges the reader into the fear and terror of abduction. Well written my friend.

True, we never know what will happen to our family member. Anyone can die. On June 15, my husband and I went to dinner with our oldest daughter to celebrate her birthday. I asked my oldest son how one of my granddaughters was doing after a near drowning. I had no idea what he meant. My husband answered. Our granddaughter almost drowned. She was taken to the hospital by the EMTs after receiving medical attention. Thankfully, they saved her life.
