You did a great job with this chapter, Sandra. I was engaged
from start to finish. You gave readers great pertinent details
to move the story forward. I can't imagine having to have
someone help deer's me. Wow, I would burn up regardless if
an actual fire caused it. I like how you included Margot's thoughts
in italics. She wonders about the night spent with Miles, but never
says anything to really show she's pet. Bessie had been doing
her snooping and found some interesting evidence. It will be
great to find out how Lord Crawley feel for the scheme. Also
when the proof comes out, it will be interesting to see if those
involved try to blame each other. I'm wondering if the
call to London Miles received was part of the plan to
have him out of the picture as if he knew too much--
the culprits may be setting up their plan. I'm thrilled with
the info Bessie and Margot now have in their hands.
Respectfully, Jan

Another super chapter, Sandra. Last week full of passion, this week full of intrigue - you are so clever!
Looks like Covid might have caught up with me at last, as I have a stinking cold and a cough from hell. Never mind, it's not half as bad as I expected. Alexis xxx

Hello Sandra,
The light begins to shine on the plot of Lord Brandon and My Cranky.
Miss Margot would make a good Miss Marple, though Miss Marple
didn't have the assistance of a ghost. :)
Excellent section showing Margot's embarrassment. Bessie seems to enjoy it very much.
Those incriminating documents are the downfall of many a schemer.
I always shred those documents. LOL
Well done.
Best wishes.

I always shred mine, too, Lol. I wouldn't want Graham to learn about my secret life. :))
Thanks so much for your lovely comments, Robert. Hmm, what about Miss Bessie? She could do things and get into places that Miss Marple could only dream about. Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

She certainly is, Sanku, and we'll have to see what else she's just discovered. Margot knows she will be heartbroken, but she can't stay in Meg's body permanently, much as she might want to. Thanks so much for another lovely review, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

A very good chapter, Sandra. With Miles gone for a few days, Margot and Bessie will have time to do the legwork. It might not hurt in the next chapter to subtly remind the reader how much time until Meg's date of death. Keep that clock ticking.

Another fantastic continuation chapter, Sandra. I liked how Bessie and Margot seemed to solve the problem between Meg and Miles, reconstructing the case was truly a solution. Very well done, greatly enjoyed. Blessings, hugs n smiles.

This is a good chapter and the plot to prove Meg's father was cheated is moving right along. Margot and Bessie are very admirable characters trying so hard to help Meg and Miles.

A very well written chapter. The quest moves on. At the beginning, and this may because I'm a dude. I thought this was odd.
That she had so wantonly {given herself to Miles}; letting him believe she was his beloved Meg. That was the lowest thing {she'd ever done.}
- these two, seem opposite. But, this may be how some women view sex. As if they are giving themselves, and not being an equal actor. But then, at the end, feel shame for what they did. As if she was an equal or more actor.
I found that very interesting and strangely realistic.

Thank you so very much, Lance, for this wonderful, and, very helpful, review. The sixth star is a bonus, and I really appreciate it.
Your comments on that sentence, looking at it through your eyes, I can see what you mean, and I'm going to work on the wording of that again. I know what I'm trying to say, but it's come out wrong. That you found the end realistic, has made my day. Thank you! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

So Miles has been called away, and Margot after her night of passion is having regrets that she's betrayed Meg, but I think there's more to this than meets the eye. They'll need some evidence that Miles father has cause the financial demise of of Meg's dad, so they searched for evidence, and think Bessie has found it, beautifully written Sandra, blessings Roy

Great progress on the investigations. I wonder about the plan to leave the envelope just lying at the front door. What if the wrong person picks it up? What if Miles's father gets it? It sounds like these are perfect evidences to bring up in a trial but there won't be a trial. It would be a confrontation between Miles and his father. I wonder if that would prevent his father's plan to kill Meg?

You're right. I've got to think of a sure way to get all this to Miles. The thinking hat will be working overtime this week!! You're reviews are always so helpful, did you notice I put in about the commode? That's down to you. I've added it to a previous chapter as well. Thanks so much, my friend. Warm hugs. :)) Sandra xxx

The credit goes to you as your writing pulls me in and gets me asking questions. And you always know the right solution or it was part of your plan all along! 💖
