I enjoyed pulling out the whimsical and fantasy vibes with this one about Orion. Afterwards, I found the perfect artwork that showed off his belt. I DO love writing in amphibrach meter. I seem to hear it in my sleep... LOL. Thanks so much, Gypsy.

Fantastic work here, Sugarray77. You have done wonderful things with the imagery here, with a masterful display of transformation. This reads like a lyrical classic. The middle stanza I truly think is the strongest, with a wonderful read both internally and when read aloud. Beautiful work here. Thank you for sharing.

My goodness, Melissa, this is breathtaking! Fantastic imaginative writing in what seems to me perfect meter. Dazzling. And with a soupçon of fun. I see this as a wonderful children's book, lavishly illustrated.
Thanks for sharing your marvelous talent

It's not just that you have captured the meter perfectly with this poem, that makes it outstanding. It's the imagery of a queen being bejeweled by heavenly constellations that makes it come alive! I loved this. Well done.

Melissa,
This is a very imaginative poem about how you can clothe yourself like a queen with the stars of this well know constellation.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Melissa,
Fantasy is fun once in a while. Some methods are more part of us than others.
Don't mention it.

This is just lovely. I really like the picture, with Orion superimposed over the star constellation. I like the way you referred to the stars as a circlet of gems for your neck, a queen's diadem, and jewels of grandeur for your hair. Great metaphor! Blessings. Carol

Beautiful poem! I loved listening to the detailed discussions of this superb poem on the recordings from our class. I regret that I couldn't participate directly. This one shines.

That's quite a picture, Melissa. Beautiful indeed. I have never paid and mind to the stars. Most of my focus has been the moon, maybe because I am a Cancer, Moon Child, they call us. Well done with this. Nancy:)

A revised review.
Ah that is so much better with a much stronger metrical ending. I read somewhere on the internet that many poets interpolate anapaestic poems with lines of amphibrach. That might be an interesting angle to explore
This is now magic, as you know.
