I like that you have this well accomplished man wanting a position from God. But he has to be content in being that "angel" in his parents' eyes. Of course, God redeems all people but they don't become angels.

Thank you for sharing this writing prompt with us. I am positve that God rejects nobody. We reject him. I'm not sure why we reject Him, but many do.

saw God reject make him not an angel. - sort of a double negative, making the meaning difficult to perceive.
He replied, "God reject make me no angel." - I don't understand what is meant.

In most parents' eyes, their children can do no wrong. And this is the way many feel even when their child get into trouble. They are the first ones to guard them. Sometimes parents get in trouble for hiding children on the run from authorities. Others turn their children in, they call it "Tough Love," This was a great story. No matter what, a child to most parents are angels.
