Your story is well written but so sad. I can understand your reason for leaving home but I am sorry that you broke all ties with your sister. I admire you for sharing this, and hope that as you contact the person you mentioned, you will learn more about your sister.

This is well written, emotional and written so that the reader can fully understand what happened and how such things happen. The sister became... collateral damage.
Things happen like that, sometimes we part and never reunite. The reasons are many, the ending is the same.
