It is awesome for you to share in such a unique way that you and your spouse are still in love. Twenty-five years having a good relationship with another human is honourable. Your photograph is an asset to your contest entry. Love at first sight is a gift in itself. Whenever and for what reasons couples are not together if able to continue growing your love is an added special blessing. Separation is difficult and can cause many challenges. Yes we are happy and content, despite the issues of our grown up children.
We are starting to feel like we are in a place, where we can make some dreams for just us.

You know how I know God is real- he brought this man into my life. We took a big risk in giving up a lot to be together.
Sort of a wrong/ right decision.
Wrong that we hurt others and right that we resolved all hurts.
We are now quite a big blended family.

I saw the prompt and had to write that in 28 minutes, find a picture and post it.
I felt driven to post about love as we are facing countdown to 25 years together.
Sometimes, it is still hard to believe we are actually together. I remember, when there was a time I would have been happy to be in the same room.
I have been in love w this man since I was 28. We got married, when I was 37 and he was 37.
I believe that God saw the need in both of us to be loved.
Goodness. this is such a long story.

I love this poem because it's sweet, genuine, and it's about love and I'm certainly still waiting for Mr. Right to find me and who doesn't want to find the love of their life? I think the poet did a great job.
The only thing that I wish is that it could have been longer but I understand too that the poet was adhering to contests rules.
But, again I love this poem because it's genuine and it talks about love.
