Like the cat quotes and sayings in your story. There are lots of them that are interesting. Being we are talking about cats, did you know that cats' eyes contain six to eight times more rods than humans, so they only need a sixth to an eighth as much light to see clearly?

Oh my. What a lot of idioms you collected..And what fun it must have been to weave them into a coherent write.
I've loved cats ever since I can remember so all of them are familiar.

I'd be surprised if any reviewers hadn't already heard these
gems and know their meaning. I knew all but one--cat's cradle. It's a great string game, but I didn't know it meant 'messy'. What fun to weave them into a story about a difficult trig test.

This makes a wonderful addition the multi-author book of idioms. You certainly found many idioms relating to cats. I'm glad you told this in story format. Great explanation of the meaning of each of the idioms. This was a great subject, appealing to both cat lovers and those interested in language. judi

Raining cats and dogs comes from when thatched roofs got wet, dogs and cats would fall through them. So many idioms involving cats. I enjoyed the video.

This is another excellent one for the Idiom book. I like the way you've worked all these cat idioms into the story so they need not explanation of how they are used. This was cleverly done and fun to read.
