Jesus Christ has sacrificed a lot for us all to have our precious freedom. He is our messiah. A beautiful poem. Thank you for sharing! Excellent work! It's inspirational.

Your poem is a lovely telling of the birth of Christ, with the shepherds hearing the angel's voices and the three kings guided by a star, coming to pay tribute to the new-born Christ. He was God's gift, salvation coming to mankind. Excellent rhyme. Maybe you would consider using a larger font? Merry Christmas to you, and blessing for the New Year. judi

'The master of deception came
to lay his cunning plan.
Yet only helped to serve God's will
salvation came to man.'
(I love you last verse! ... The planning of the fall of Christ- backfires!)
Enjoyed!

Nice cadence and flow along with strong verb choices. I like how you string together rhymes that deliver with rational and not forced. You told the story of his birth in a fresh and meaningful way. Love the scripture references too. Merry Christmas!

In my devotions this week, the Holy Spirit has impressed on me the humility of Jesus. All He wanted was to do God's will, not His own. I am writing a poem about it and will post next week. I just can't fathom, as a human, how selfless He had to be to accomplish that. I appreciate you, Roy, and your words:) This poem is moving and emotional and represents the golden truth and miracle of our Savior's birth....and in rhyme. Well done my friend!

Beautiful ode to our beautiful Savior.
He left the throne of glory to fulfill the old, old story.
May the Holy Spirit enable us to know Him better, love Him more deeply and serve Him more effectively to His glory.

Satan the Devil went too far and realized too late that he could not backtrack. He could not seek or ask for a do over. He must now live with the certain knowledge that his days are numbered. The one he sought to destroy will indeed be the one who will carry out his imprisonment and eventually his extermination. Unlike Satan, we have an opportunity to seek forgiveness and redemption. We should not hesitate.
