Yes, this is a fine conclusion to the Memories of this world! I am sorry I have been remiss in reading some of your chapters but I am glad that I caught the final one! I remember snow on the ground when I lived in Virginia when I was only 3 and 4 years old! It was cold, wet and I had to wear so much extra clothing to go out into the snow that it hardly seemed worth it! But, when I stepped out into that wilderness of snow covering everything in sight, it was marvelous!
You told us of your experience so I thought I would share a little of mine!
I promise I will read what comes ahead I had forgotten what an excellent writer you are!
Thanks for this wonderful and insightful post I needed this to start my morning up!
Happy holidays, my friend!
Jesse

What a poignant write. Your descriptions of the snow are exquisite. It's your analysis of the change that I like though. I like the holiness and purity that you bring into the picture. You describe exactly how I feel in fresh snow.
I loved it.

Pure snow has a habit of making things look brand new and crisp and reminding you that there is a fresh start to the day. A spiritual write and I enjoyed the sentiments, love Dolly x

Yes. I cherish snow as well as you do. It definitely is a symbol of renewal, purity and a sense of beauty demonstrated via nature. We are going to northern Minnesota tomorrow for Christmas. Seeing snow among tall pine forest and skiing among them is unforgettable.

Well done.

Thanks so much for the excellent review and for the wonderful comments validating the writing in this piece. I miss those days after snow storms. When all is white and otherworldly, like the world is on the threshold of heaven. No snow down here this year, not even close. In fact, it will be close to 70 Christmas Day. In five winters in NC I have seen 8.5 inches of snow. Nothing like the annual 30 -40 inches we got on Long Island. But I don't miss the shoveling. estory
