Jesus is the reason for the season. I enjoy reading about the birth through your descriptive poetry. It takes the thoughts and images to a wonderful place and time. Timely, and nicely strung like a string of pearls.

What can I say, Roy? It's that time of year again? Or the birthday of the greatest Man that ever walked amongst men. It's most humbling to think about His daily life, spent amongst friends and strangers, that's what kept Him going. The knowledge of His Father.

This was beautiful, Roy. I don't think I could have captured the essesence of the poem any better. I truly agree that Isaiah 9-6 shared the news of a child being born and all the titles of wonder. I enjoyed the picture because it showed the birth of the Christ child. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings.

It is very rhythmic Roy and as I was reading I could imagine it being sung, with a nativity setting as a backdrop. I think the kids will love it. Nicely done. Cheers

Beautiful song and the heart of Christmas is the gift of Christ. A lovely tribute as we kick off this sacred season. Sending you my best today as always, and blessings for Christmas,

A lovely poem and very timely for Advent. I just watched a movie on Prime Video called The Perfect Stranger. It's about a lady lawyer who gets an invitation to dine with Jesus. She thinks it's a hoax, but it's really Jesus. Whoever wrote the script for this did a wonderful job. You might want to watch it.

This is very catchy, and a good tale for children of the coming of Jesus. I shall be using it in Christmas's to come to improve the English of my grandson (also called Emmanuel, so it will appeal to him).

Roy,
It's always amazing to me that you are so able to create songs as well as poems. Some people tend to think they are almost the same, but they are sooooo different. It really does take different skills for each.
Some notes:
1.) GOLD, FANKINCENCE AND MER.
--> frankincense
--> myrrh
2.) WITH TREASUR(E)S RICH AND RARE.
Thanks!

I'm so glad you are using your songwriting gifts to bless the children and help them memorize the Good News so that they can recall it to help them in the future! Great ballad rhythm and rhymes and Nativity story in song!
