A tree is our intimate contact with nature. They are far more precious than all the gold and silver put together. I can resonate with your poem. very well penned. Thanks for sharing!

Good to find another tree lover. Thank you for reviewing.

This is a virtual hug for a tree! Seriously there is nothing more beautiful than a tree. I have been known to seek solace under a beautiful tree in our yard. Their great strength and solidarity is inspiring. Giddy

It is funny how we(people), whether we know/ realize it or not are drawn to these majestic, ancient and noble kings of the forest. Who has not spent time sitting, resting and pondering beneath the limbs of one of natures greatest guardians.

I'm happy to see another soul that feels as I do about trees. Thank you for reviewing.

Where do you guys come up with all those forms? This poem speaks to me, as I am a tree lover, although I cut quite a few down for firewood. I probably should write a poem about that.

When one does not feel complete, to commune with nature usually serve to rejuvenate the spirits and provide uplift to the heart mind and soul. You may need to repeat the process a few times to get the full effect. However many times it may take, it does work.

Oh, I agree. Nothing so soothing as nature, especially trees. Thanks for reviewing.

A nice poem of renewal within nature set in a very difficult structural rhyme scheme. Well done and nice use of some words I had never heard before!!!!

I love this style of poetry. I'm on Poetry Soup with Connie. I didn't realize she was on here! Your lovely, skillfully written poem has captured the majesty of trees. Great use of personification

You personified your tree so well, I briefly lost tracck and thought you were referring to an entire forest. It's a testiment to the power of your words. Well done.

Wow, the picture was wonderful, damommy. Your words were great and did indeed the beauty, the calmness and the peace of a tree- whether you simply stand beneath it or hug it, like I do. Very well done and greatly enjoyed.

I'm so glad someone else hugs trees, and I talk to them, too. But don't tell anyone. Someone asked what they replied, but I can't tell. It's a secret. 8-) Thank you, Alie.
-
You are so welcome, Yvonne. Ahaaa, your secret is safe with me, I hug them, sit under them and of course I talk to them.
-
Oh, good. Our secret.
