Oh gosh Liz,
that had me laughing pretty good. Poor Chuck. He sounds like me in so many ways. Nothing like a little public humiliation to conclude the excursion with the kids. At least he's not afraid to share. You must be a very good friend to him.
Have a blessed evening.

Glad you got a laugh! Luckily, Chuck is thin enough to make it through the window. Check out Monica's Chaddick's and LisaMay's reviews!

This was a wonderful tale of Chuck's adventures with two little ones- Deven and Sandra, Elizabeth. I am sure everyone has made this blunder, lol. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Nice picture and I am sure Lauren enjoyed it.

This is a funny anecdotal story. Actually, you could turn this into a story with a moral. "Don't teach knot tying while your rope is wrapped around something." Just a thought.

This is pretty funny. He must have slim and agile to be able slide himself that with a steering wheel in the ways. Getting out when he got home must have been even trickier

Glad you got a laugh! Luckily, Chuck is thin enough to make it through the window. Check out Monica's Chaddick's and LisaMay's reviews! Indeed, it was trickier at home--he lifted Deven out the window and they reversed the procedure, passing the rope under and over.

Another hilarious story from Chuck, Liz. I can imagine the chuckles from the road onlookers. It's a good thing the windows were open. Chuck seemed unfazed.

I love this short-short story and it gave me a good hearty laugh for the day. I can picture the whole embarrassing scene. Your story is really cute and written in a nice, smooth manner. I enjoyed it immensely.

This is so funny! Sometimes we are too smart for our own good. Chuck was so involved is showing how much he knew about knots that he failed to see that he tied the doors shut. It was the kids who spotted his mistake.
I bet this story ran around the family for years.
Thank you and Chuck for the laugh.
Best wishes,
Mary

Men deserve what they reap!! I wish I could have seen this for myself...I would have quietly observed without one snuff or snort - honest!! Even when he heaved those darling children through the windows. You must live in a very civilized place - here in America everyone with a cell phone would have been lined up and a tv van would have come around!

As always, you never disappoint. This hillarious little story starts out innocently enough, but ends with the knee slapping scene of the family having to climb into the car through the windows, as the father in his zeal has tied all the doors shut. Expertly composed from beginning to end, this lighthearted piece is some tonic to raise the spirits in this hustling, bustling season. estory

Liz,
HAHAHAHAHA! Yep. Sometimes we are so smart we really (accidentally) show people exactly how smart we are. hahahaha
What a super story - so glad he was humble enough to share it. Thanks!
