Wonderfully whimsical take on losing oneself in the adventure of a book. I've always loved reading--a cost-free and convenient alternative to real-world travel. Great examples here--time travel and fantasy are possible!

I really enjoyed this one damommy. I liked the picture and your words showed your flexibility in life with a book. Whether you are on a pirates ship, or a cowboy driving cattle or dancing with fairies. All you need is a book. Very well done and really enjoyed.

The content in this poem is right on the button. My Grandfather gave me a set of Harvard classics nearly 50 years ago. Inside the cover of each volume is a bookplate that says, "there is no frigate like a book to bear us lands away." That is exactly what you're saying in your poem. I guess it must be true. Excellent rhyme and meter with this one.

You certainly did not need the artwork. You took me on a visual with each stanza. Rhyme flowed through the piece and I loved it. If I had to say which stanza was my favorite, I would have to say ALL of them! Great job.

You speak the truth! A good book and you really can be transformed right into the story being able to make you think you can hear and see everything going on. You can climb mountains or ride on moonbeams any time you like. I love the rhyme and rhythm of your poem, The words flow easily and freely. Great job!
