The plot just gets better and better. I like this story.

(Let's begin with where we left off last night. Madge, and Marty are onstage, and Barry is peering at them through a window. Places, everyone. (You don't need the '(' at the beginning.)

Dialog is excellent--witty touch--dark and stormy night--put a lid on it.

I am confused as to why the letter would be incriminating.

    Thanks so much for your review and comments. Maybe I should have clarified that. In earlier scenes it was mentioned that Patterson's papers had been stolen from the guest cottage and this must have been part of them. Also, Lou is kind of Barney Fife character, always quick to make assumptions. judi
