Oh, I sense you are about to educate us some more about Native American history that we were never taught in school. I'm looking forward to that.
I really liked how you showed the anxiety with the nail prints in Liz's hand. Great way to "show not tell."
I was also brought back to being wee with Bea as we carefully moved away from anxiety and fear to change the focus of our thought patterns. Great chapter!
As he sensed the mood, tensing, (I'd remove the comma as I think it is the mood that's tensing)
