This was superb - it was romantic, spiritual, thought-pondering, soul-searching and much more. Excellent rhyming and meter throughout, which is a signature style for you.''
Thank you for the author notes and the scriptural reference.

Thank you for this deep spiritual reflection, Roy! I especially liked the stereophonic effect of the "wandering wail" to symbolize the spiritual journey. My favorite part was the last two stanzas which show resolve to serve the Lord instead of man's "futile dreams" and "endless schemes."

Your spiritual poem reads well, Roy. The presentation is great--the color scheme, the image, the smooth flow of lines, the end rhymes, the author notes, and your great and true message. I believe what you are saying that man has a choice and many times that choice is in opposition to God's way. When man allows God to lead, then life will be better for him and others. The road may be rocky, but in the end, true believers will be saved.
Respectfully, Jan

I love this poem!!!! It rhymes perfectly and I can really picture your thoughts. Nice vocabularies you put into this poem (rove, gales, grove, etc). Keep up the amazing work and I am excited to read more your poems!

God's hand guides your meter
Blessed with Grace and Mercy
You share the Gospel
With words on an arrow
They pierce the heart.
Thank you for sharing and caring.

Another beautiful poem about our Lord and how He loves us. He forgives our sins and tresspasses. He's always there when we need him. We are never alone. Great job, Roy!
Blessings!

Another fine one, Roy. And I loved the artwork. I really loved the poem and below I've picked lines that meant something to me.
to understand why I'm blood-bought
One may as well chase endless schemes,
where death in silent darkness beams

Beatifully written and true of the way the mind sometime wonders trying to piece out how God came to care so much about us that he would go to such lengths to assure of a future in his kingdom. I really enjoy your poetry.

Your lovely poem was followed by some very remarkable author's notes, Roy. You make more sense than some so called preachers who really don't understand the meaning of God's love. I think I'd rather listen to you and hear your thoughts than many others. I really enjoyed the lesson in this poem, my friend. You are a natural preacher of God's Holy Word. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx
