I've come to the conclusion that people in general have become rude. But, in their defense, it's hard not to be rude when everyone else around you is rude too. The vicious cycle grows. I've thought I might just start going up to everyone I meet and kiss them on the cheek and see if it changes anything. On second thought, I'll probably get shot or put in jail. Thanks for sharing.

I can understand them not being the people involved in accidents, but I can't count on both hands the times I've seen to cause other accidents by driving so slow and overly cautious. And that's the truth. But there are others, they aren't the only ones. LOL.

Those are stunning numbers, Liz. Knowing you, I guess it's fact and it is probably the same here in Canada. It is not surprising. Good for them that they were able to leave authoritarianism behind them. (I hope they did)

Looks like China and America are well amalgamated. That both the governments are at loggerheads is another matter altogether. I think this kind of love-hate relationship may continue till Covid is kicked out into the blue. The Chinese know that the American economy will collapse without them. Wonder if the Chinese realise when they are buying stuff in America, they are buying their own stuff made in their own country. Just a thought! Cheers!

Looks like China and America are well amalgamated. That both the governments are at loggerheads is another matter altogether. I think this kind of love-hate relationship may continue till Covid is kicked out into the blue. The Chinese know that the American economy will collapse without them. Wonder if the Chinese realise when they are buying stuff in America, they are buying their own stuff made in their own country. Just a thought! Cheers!

statistics win out! When 80% of your food pantry patrons are Chinese it only makes sense! How insidious bias can be! I can't imagine, all things being equal, anyone would comment most of the brunettes, or those with blue eyes, or those wearing coats...(etc)-

I like your math, kiddo! From my experience with the Chinese (and it is minimal), they tend to be gracious to the point of self-effacement. It makes me wonder if the reason your fellow servers brought out this complaint was because of the contrast with their normal nature.
