I rather like the golden shovel form, but the golden shovel is an interesting name and a great turn of very short phraseology, but I I did note that Karen is getting some great press lately. Superbly written dear Pam, well done, blessings Roy

Thanks for the review, Roy. I appreciate your comments about the golden shovel. I tried it twice, and it wasn't making a lot of sense so I did this one. I am glad you enjoyed it.

This is an incredibly clever poem, which should provide much scope for study by Karenina and result in great entertainment. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did. Love Kate xx

Hello Pam,
What a splendid poem and creation for Karenina.
The original form of a silver shovel poem
using words of a famous poem to start each line
is worth six stars all by itself.
The intricate rhyme scheme is marvelous to see
and beautifully done.
Howtown is a wonderful place, as is this silver shovel poem.
Best wishes.
Six silver shovels.
Robert

Very good poem. I like the picture and how well the shovel worked. It reminds me of a gold shovel l saw at church. They preserved it in gold because they used it to build the whole fiundation for the church. Its pretty. Thank you for sharing your poem.

Hi Pam - very well written and engaging. Funny, I thought e.e was easyeverett. Pretty hysterical - apologies to Mr Cummings and you. Very nice to write this to Karenina. I have heard she is unwell. It brought a smile to my face.

You did a great job, Pam, continuing in the same format as ee cummings. I enjoyed reading your poem. It's difficult to know where his ends and yours start. There's good smooth flow to your well thought out words that create great imagery. The image pairs perfectly, too. Thanks for the extensive notes.
Respectfully, Jan
