A.,
I don't read much fantasy, but I was able to understand everything I read here and fell right in. Nice work! It sounds like these guys (and women) and in for a pretty serious task ahead. There is no easy solution and regardless of the path they choose, there will be death and destruction, pain and sadness. It's gonna get ugly... I like it! hahaha
Good job!

Well this is just how a classic fantasy journey should be and should go. Facing the beast, boss, or Dragon should be a choice and their should be a tangible reward for doing so. I land to live is a good one.

Went back and read several chapters to get oriented. Found out who and what Haymen and his countrymen were. Your story moves forward well and the geographical references lend authority. Good physical description of Lord Gangus but didn't see physicals on his sons, maybe in a chapter I didn't read?
Good opponent in the dragon and looking forward to more on Drake, is his passion just for destroying, or does he have another motive?
Good story,
irish

Thank you so much, Irish, for going back a bit before your review. I really appreciate that. Yes, descriptions are detailed in earlier chapters.

This is another excellent chapter, Amahra. The challenge will be difficult, but Gangus and his crew are determined. I worry about the Domarian women though.
Note: Missing quotation marks at the beginning of this,
I sure hope you know what you're doing."
