Mystery writer, I enjoyed reading your free verse poem. A pressed rose always has a memory and ofter a bittersweet one attached. The rose was in the page reserved for regrets and it represed something hoped for but never coming to be, and now the lady voice is silent. Moving the rose of remberance back to the earlier page when there was only freindship and no regret might take away some of the sting.

Wow that is so good!
Now I need to write a poem about the feelings that I have that you will probably win this contest LOL. I really enjoyed reading this and it definitely had some "feels"
So many relationships start off with such hope and then "things happen" that caused those relationships that you thought were going to be forever, to dissipate.
I particularly liked that first opening sentence, because we all have the good, the bad, and the regrets. Well done.

What a touching poem. I loved the line about the page of regrets tucked in between the good and bad in your life. I wasn't sure about the question mark at the end of friend. I don't quite understand it. Nonetheless a lovely poem of forgiveness and friendship and love. Well done.

Thank you, Tom. I?m questioning if the friendship was real, thus the page of regret. Blessings.

Very nicely written Free Verse poem of friendship gained and lost through the pages of time. Why does this happen? Perhaps life gets in the way. Sometimes we just grow in different directions? There are many reasons. This poem does well in presentation of the emotions involved.

Wow. The sheer emotions and inward thoughts in this work of yours, are
almost overwhelming. The pressed, faded rose was a perfect foil for the 'regrets page.
I think everyone has lost a certain someone, either through time, Fate, or illness. Saw feud's that had lasted years marvelously resolved at high school reunions.
very good work,

This is a really well done presentation for the 'Feeling's' contest. The emotions are raw and deeply felt and expressed even though they were brought to life from the past by a pressed flower. Really beautiful.
