What a beautifully composed free verse poem on bubbles. A brilliant take on the theme! Very impressive imagery--four stunning scenarios-I might add that happiness is like a rising bubble. Never know when it will pop! Thanks for sharing!

Hi JLR,
This is a most descriptive poem! I felt like I was there, sitting with you by the waterfall cascading down, roaring into the water creating bubbles and they jot back up to become water as rain to fill the streams and clouds, and on and in it goes. While reading, I caught myself smelling the water mist and felt the spray on my face, smelled the damp fertile ground.
Most enjoyable little trip and a welcome "science lesson". Total Recall... I just had a virtual vacation :-)
One small typo perhaps? "ever-downward jounrey in the mountain stream." - journey?

This is a most descriptive poem! I felt like I was there, sitting with you by the waterfall cascading down, roaring into the water creating bubbles and they jot back up to become water as rain to fill the streams and clouds, and on and in it goes. While reading, I caught myself smelling the water mist and felt the spray on my face, smelled the damp fertile ground.

What a very nice poem and the memories it brings...I loved those bubble bottles and watching the bubbles rise into the sky, some popping and others floating to heaven, I thought. Well-thought-out and a joy!

Hi Dolly, thanks for your read and comment. I hope someday you will find that shady spot at the foot of a waterfall and capture the moments when the water reflects the bubbles, beneath the surface, rising onto the crest of waves as they surface from the long cascading fall from the height above you. 🙏🙏🎶🎶

Its a circle in the life of bubbles...a great concept. I loved bubbles when I was a kid and my children loved them as well. I never thought of them being a part of a bigger picture though...it's delightful. Thanks for sharing. :)
