So finally Gabriel has admitted he's in love with Katherine, maybe not to her, but to Reggie at least. They are are gong to take it slow, maybe because of the PI. Frost must be disparate. The boys challenge the girls to a race, that will vie certainly interesting. Well done, blessings Roy

Barb. I like how you have a two parts in this chapter that I believe draw readers to continue and find out of how the challenge goes (running) will go.
How clever you are to take time start a ( real) romance between Gabriel and Katherine.

Look as if you are bringing this romance to the front burner. When reading the part about the girls' ball games, I had to ask about the Emily Wilkie's who plays for the Florida Gators. Pretty girl and a great ballplayer.

I love the running competition being set up between the girls and the male jocks. That should be interesting! It's also good that both Katherine and Gabriel have admitted their mutual attraction. Well written.
One grammatical issue in this sentence: "We've only ran(run) that hill four times and your team has ran(run) it for what, years?" - I know it seems strange, but when preceded by the past tense (have), the verb run remains in the present tense.
