Well done on this 3-6-9 poem. I guess we all do that, put on a smile when we don't really feel like, whether we are suffering physical pain or something else that we don't want others to know about.

This poem made me smile. It looks like you followed all the rules and wrote an excellent three-six-nine poem for the contest. She is an elegant looking lady.

Good job Sadie, nice hat for the Darby or Derby or whatever the hell your set calls it. It's kind of like the "tomato, tomoto, potato, pototo, lets call the whole thing off," back in the Fred Astaire days. Way before you're time I'm sure. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jen! It's a great start to your 3-6-9 poem. You need two more stanzas to make the requirements for the contest. Sadie is a lovely lady and I look forward to what more you'll say about her!

I have just realized my silly mistake and have just about finished lengthening it. X

This made me smile! Do you know the person in the picture? She seems like she was happy at the time of the photo. It's like the picture was meant for the poem, and vice versa :)

No I don't know her. I just saw the picture then wrote the poem. Thanks for reviewing. Jen

I saw that after I browsed the site a bit, but it's great that you put the words together as if she was an old friend :)
