Vitual SIX (out of 6s)
Sorry my dear, I have been away, missed a few..
Absolutely beautiful! A work of art for sure. A serenade to the beauty of God through nature. I love the shift from season to season, with the changes in nature so peacefully described...until the cherry blossoms where faith peaks. So many one of a kind verses. Too many favourites but Id pick 'His restoring balm will beckon again'.
Well done.
Cheers,
DJ

Ah. The wonders of Nature's full bloom. As one who fully believes in the creation, I cannot fathom the belief that all of this beautiful grandeur came about by pure accident. The efficient process of photosynthesis not have been scientifically created. What many fail to realize is that like all other useful things, science was also created so quite naturally it will agree with and verify creation.

Many parts of this are just beautiful. I could have read again and again. Flowing nicely it tiptoed through velvet and blossoms.
The imagery is immense.
It was a pleasure to read.
My best wishes....good luck with it.

This poem is excellent in every respect--vividly descriptive, skillfully and creatively written, and powerful in its message about the beauty and peace
God has given us to enjoy.

A beautiful meditative poem! I especially liked:
"I need bid adieu
Fear's hold on man's world,
And welcome God's view."
God is in control and His beauty in all He created should reassure us that nothing that the evil one scares us with can ever prevail over our loving, almighty God!

This is beautiful, Diane. Your poetry always flows so smoothly and your metaphors- clusters of lace- are so vivid. I can sense the Divine by just reading your words.

I like the rhythm produced by these short five-syllable lines. Together with the 'abcb' rhyme scheme, they create a lovely effect. The only line that didn't quite seem to fit when I read the poem aloud wasSoon, ripened cherries. The stress on cherries struck me as being back to front. Apart from that, an outstanding poem.

Thank you, Tony.
I've asked all of my family members to pronounce "cherry" = (CHAIR) - ee. Must be a Michigan thing.
Glad you enjoyed.
Thank you!

So stellar a poem I could not help but offer six stars! As God makes the nature grow and change and bend with the seasons, so He does with our own ever blossoming faith! What a lovely place to call home! A beautiful write!

Elegant and evocative--stunning phrasing--e.g. tempered my tears--White clusters of lace--spring's errant whims--graceful flow--perfect title for the theme.
