Virtual Six.
I saw this early, then taking care of members, saw that I had not reviewed.
I would have liked to have given this more.
Loved the imagery. The repeating line worked ok, but the best was the poetic aura and finesse of the writing.
Well done.
Best wishes.
Have a great week.

What a lovely poem, and it sounds like you live in a very beautiful area. I very much liked the final line of each stanza celebrating a different kind of prayer, original and creative.

This poem is excellent in every respect--skillfully and creatively composed and vividly descriptive. You have conveyed a powerful message
about the soothing, healing touch of nature.

I enjoyed reading your lovely poem filled with the imagery of Spring. Your author's note verified your gratitude for the constancy of Nature. I am thrilled to see Spring's approach. The photos are grand.

A beautiful place of healing and prayer, sacred to you. I wish for it. The outside is so wonderful right now where I am, drenched in amaryllis and azaleas.
Sending you my best today as always for this lovely poem,

Your piece is so calming. A nice breath of fresh air to calm the mind. I like your theme. Good presentation. We do need to stay thankful, we are alive! Thanks for sharing.

This is truly a calming, healing prayer. It is well thought-out and I see it as a blind placing of your hand in that of God, with trust and belief. Thank you for sharing. Katherine.

Hello Zoe!
Thank you for your exceptional rating and complimentary review!
I so enjoyed penning this piece. It began as a Kyrielle, but then it took on a life of its own!
So pleased my offering resonated with you!

How wonderful to read a poem such as this. Beautiful in rhyme and meter, flowing softly as a bubbling brook, reminding us all to look back on the past year and see more than what was lost...rejoice, instead in what we never lost! Like you, when missing my grand-kiddos or feeling isolated I have always found serenity in nature... Life has been abounding there, even as a horrible human toil has been rocking our world. Think I'll go meander down our river-walk now! Uplifting write!--Karenina

Hello Diane, I knew I had not reviewed this poem. I read it before going to bed. Now, this evening I am reviewing and I was sure I had not remembered to review you the following morning. Well here I am now. How could I forget. It is so beautifully written and I love the way you have a prayer for every stanza. This was well done in abab rhyme and you matched the perfect word rhyme for each prayer. This was not just a lovely descriptive piece of work, it was also cleverly thought out, beautifully displayed and a lovely read. As you say, 'we have much to be thankful for'. Warm regards - Dorothy xx

Hello Dorothy!
Thank you for your exceptional rating and complimentary review!
I know how it is with reading and reviewing! I often just read for hours upon hours, and then I think I have written a review, when I haven't!
This poem began as a Kyrielle, but then it took on a life of its own.
I realized that I truly do go about my day saying snippets of prayers - and many are like the ones I shared in this poem. I've been doing it all of my life, but I wasn't really cognizant of it until I began this poem. Does that make sense?
I wish everyone had a "Miller's Pond."
So very honored that my poem resonated with you!
Thank you!
