Your richtameter is excellent in all respects--accurate in formation and vivid in its use of onomatopoeia in describing the rushing water and its effects. The title caught my eye because I always think of gold, red, and autumn when I think of falling leaves.

Thank you very much for your review and validation.

This is a very creative entry in the contest. I especially like the word "whooshing" which is applied in the beginning to the creek, and in the end, to the leaves. This poem has great imagery if only reading the words, but is enhanced by the artwork. The is a great presentation.

Lorraine, thank you for the validation on this poem.

I love the mathematical possibilities of the rictameter. You have found just the right combination to create as onomatopoeia with your whoosing, watery words - even though my dictionary says neither 'whoosing' nor 'rictometer' are actually words. LOL Write on!

Rosalie, thanks for the review.

In this Rictameter poem the poet has shown how the green tree leaves do fall in Nature seasonally and they all do dance for being happy to invite the next season or they dance being glad for changes; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR

Very nicely written. I like the image of the water misting up to meet the falling leaves. The rictameter is a form I haven't yet tried. Maybe I'll attempt to discipline myself.

Okay. I wrote one, but I'm too late for the contest because I've already posted twice today. I'll have to hold it in reserve.

Great, I will watch for it!

Dear Mystery Writer,
Nice! I certainly got a great sense of what was going on with this small stream in its dash down to find a bigger body of water to meet. *smile* You used really good, active verbs and great imagery. Good luck!

This is a very well-written Rictameter. We get a vivid picture of both the rushing creek and the "falling, twirling" leaves. Your opening/closing refrain really works at giving us a sense of motion. A solid entry in this contest. Rod

I think you have a winner here, I like how you give nature humans attributes and feelings - cascading over a gentle
depression, spewing a heavy wet mist
skyward, to seemingly collide
with featherlike green leaves
falling, twirling
whooshing.... -Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.
