It's a good thing not to trust some people sometimes. They only bring heartache. This fellow sounds like that kind of person....until the next chapter...staying tune.....

Tania was right about Colin getting in touch again and she seems to be handling the get together well enough. It will certainly be interesting to see what he has to say and how he will try to finagle information from her. Look forward to the next chapter.

Action opens up with Tania anxious about answering the phone.

Seems by the tone of her voice, Tania definitely does not want anything to do with Colin. Then, she agrees to meet him with her recorder in tow.

In P8, should old times' sake be old time's sake?

First a drink, then lunch, then what follows? That becomes the question.

Ending lends to possible disaster occurring.

Thank you so much, Brett, for reading this part. No, Tania doesn't want anything to do with Colin, but he has stolen things from her and now she has to prove it. The drink, then a meal, what happens next is not going to be nice. Far from it.

The, Old times' sake, I checked on that before I posted. I am right because it's plural. Google it and you'll see. I only checked because it came up once before, so this time I wanted to make sure I had it right. Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Ah, you do love to keep us in suspense, don't you? I can't wait to see what happens at that meeting? Will Colin trip himself up and admit he knows Grant? Or is it Colin at all? He certainly seems guilty, but then he'd make the perfect patsy, wouldn't he?

I don't trust him either!! But I hope he wouldn't try to kill her, maybe just kidnap the ransom her plans. =] Great as always. I didn't see any errors and am looking forward to the next chapter.

I thought the dialogue was realistic, and we get a picture through it of these two, Colin and Tania, as they dance around in this courtship teasing and manipulating and holding each other at arms' length. There is deffinitely an undercurrent here, some motives behind each of them, that remain mysterious and under the radar. I think the suspense is there. How will that meeting at the bar turn out? estory

Sandra,

Very good chapter - though, like Monica, I'm more than a little worried about our MC. I know she's a smart one and on guard, but that guy has proven he will stoop to just about anything to get ahead. I don't know what killing her might do - except help in this ONE project. Hmmm...

One thought:
1.) Tania chewed on her lip as a look of distaste face covered her face.
--> delete 'face' after 'distaste'

Thanks a bunch!

Thank you so much, Robyn! You have read our Colin right. Let's hope Tania has, if not!!! Thanks for picking out that extra face, when I looked again, I found a few more errors. I must have been blindfolded before I posted! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra.

So Tania has decided to become a private detective and record a conversation at a lunch. That seems a little risky to me. The fact that she believes Mr. Grant had spoken with Colin makes me suspicious about both of them.

Now she needs to find out what has happened, if nothing else, for her own peace of mind. As for me, I don't trust either one of those men if they spoke about this.
