This is just beautiful, Roy. That nourishing and refreshing rain has no compare, even though everything works in concert the rain has that little extra something.

Bold and unexpected--precipitation (vs the usual rain)--also cools (vs drenches) the thirsty land. Stunning and fresh application of holy water--clever! Fine chapter.

This is a very nice and conforting work, Roy. In these troubled days this is what we need. My favorite lines is "sun scorched land." This haiku gives inspiration to new lines in the same note. i will explore it...
